Darton College Anyone?

Hello! I am applying to darton nursing program in albany ga. Can anyone tell me what their average is on the HESI exam and what is the lowest GPA they have taken. Thanks.

Okay so I'm super behind on these post, I just recently created an account on allnurses.com...and will be traveling from Atlanta to Albany for awhile come Jan 2010 3 days a wk and was wondering if there was anyone in my area who will also be attending the evening nursing program and wanted to car pool....if so please let me know...I'm not the best at navigating this website, so if you're interested please email me at [email protected]

did you do the health bridge program or the 2 year RN program. howare they on theire hesi scores each quarter.

I'm doing the 2 year RN program and I'm not too sure what's considered a passing score for the HESI. After the test they give you a group average on how well others did on the test but they didnt explain what is and what is not considered as a passing score.

did you guys from Atlanta commute daily/weekly into Albany? how did that work for u? Did you guys do it daily together or individually?

It really depends on your class schedule. For example; I had class 3 days a week so I was required to travel to Albany 3 days a week, unfortunately I was doing it solo because I attempted to join a car pool a little too late. If you have the opportunity to move to Albany I would HIGHLY suggest it, that is unless you can get involved with a group of people who are carpooling.

thanks Francene. How long did it take you to drive into Albany everyday? What time did you have to leave the house? It looks like I will be having classes 3 days a week also. Summer is my first semester. How was your first semester at Darton?

I was wondering the same thing! And are you taking your HESI again? I take mine on May 21. This will be my first time applying for Darton (fall 2011) and I haven't taken the HESI yet. So for those of you who have, can you tell me roughly how many questions there are on there? And especially how many are Anatomy. :) Thanks!

No, I'm applying for the traditional route for Fall 2011. But I was wondering why they extended the deadline for the apps! And I've completed all but Med Term & Micro.

Don't remember the exact amount of A&P questions but i would say 20 at the most .. just study the study guide .. you'll do fine

I would like advice from anyone that has taken or currently in the hybrid nursing program at Darton. I am applying for it and hoping to start it in January of 2012. Any help in regards to the HESI, classes, what to expect...anything would be helpful!
