Hey kukuakukua! No, I haven't gotten a letter yet, I am actually taking the HESI test the first of the week. I am a late tester. Do you live in the Columbus area where I could possibly borrow your HESI study guide for a couple of days? I needed to freshen up a couple of things before I take the test. Thanks for the info. I am applying for that new hybrid program for spring semester for the Ft. Benning area. I hope I can get in. I saw the ad in the paper and it is only giving me 2.5 weeks to get all of my transcripts, applications and immunizations record in. I am 41 and haven't seen an immunization record in a very long time. I am just hoping I can get the blood work done and the vaccines I need done in time. I am new in town and I am not established with a physician, so going in as a new patient is not as quick as I would like it to be! Ohh the stress, but I am sure it is only the beginning! How often do you have to go in for exams and clinicals?

Thank you for your advice and the information you gave. I figured the online hybrid class would be harder just from taking regular online classes before. I am assuming that the 5 semesters it takes to complete everything are consecutive and there are no breaks except for normal holidays and spring break? I noticed on the hybrid nursing program application it states we have to show evidence of prior learning in an on-line format...What evidence do they need or require? also we have to type a 1-2 page written essay documenting that experience and reason for choosing a career in nursing. The nursing part I could handle, but it doesn't take long to describe taking an on-line class. Any suggestions or advice on what they are looking for in that paper?

I am currently applying to Darton for the Hybrid Traditional nursing course at the Ft. Benning location and am curious about the online nursing program and how students feel about it. Where do you go take your tests and where do you do your clinicals? At Martin Army or other area hospitals? Is it harder than being in class face to face? What can I expect? Excited but nervous. I also will have to take the HESI Exam in about a month. I have not taken A&P in about 3 years. I need to study for it, but I am also currently taking physics at another school which is difficult and takes up a lot of time. How hard is the HESI Test and what can I expect from it? I so hope and pray I get in!!!!!

Thanks! I am not sure when I will take it yet, but Cindy Wright that I talked to at the school yesterday said it would probably around the first of November, so that does not give me much time to study!!!! Good luck on yours!

I would like advice from anyone that has taken or currently in the hybrid nursing program at Darton. I am applying for it and hoping to start it in January of 2012. Any help in regards to the HESI, classes, what to expect...anything would be helpful!

luluinblu, what campus are you applying for? I am applying now for the new hybrid traditional nursing program at Ft. Benning that will start in January 2012. I am nervous about the HESI Test. I have taken an NLN Exam before which was like taking the SAT, but the HESI from what I hear is more geared toward nursing. If there is any advice you or anyone can give me about what to expect and what I need to do, I would greatly appreciate it! Good luck to you and everyone else!

Hi, I was reading this thread and just wondering inhouse, how classes were going? I am applying to the school and about to apply for the hybrid traditional nursing program at Ft. Benning and was wondering if you or anyone had any advice for me? This will be an online program except we have to come in for testing and clinicals of course, but I am completely new to the school and hopefully will get accepted to the ADN program. I will have to take the HESI pre-nursing test that will be used toward my admission to the program and just wondering what to expect and what I need to study the most. I am assuming the A&P is the most important? Any advice would be helpful!
