I never heard anything. I called over 10 times, spoke with a couple different people, none of whom could give me a straight answer. The last 3 times I called I didn't even get a person which left me feeling as if my calls were being screened. I was disappointed with the non-professionalism rqqof the HR department. The fact that they couldn't even tell me if interviews had closed or not was confusing and disheartening. Let me know if you hear anything, though with just over two weeks left until the program starts, I don't have much hopeAny new grads out there who've applied to the NRP at Dartmouth-Hitchcock heard anything?? I've called the recruiter twice over the past 2 weeks and both times she said I'd hear either way "In a few days" but still nothing... And if you've ever applied there for any job, do they mail you a rejection letter or email or just nothing? I've been pretty persistant with this, so I'm hoping even if it is a no that I will at least get an official no... thanks for your help!
i'm pretty sure my online status has changed for this job. it used to say something like "under review....if you meet our high standards we'll contact you".....now it says "our recruitment team is currently processing your application. you are being considered along with other candidates for the position. we will be in contact with you only if you are selected for an interview or if we need further information."
I have applied as well and have heard nothing. Even after sending a follow up email to confirm they have everything they need, no response at all.
I did hear a rumor that another girl in my program who applied DID get a phone interview. That's all I know. I just hope to hear *something* soon, because I'm holding off on another offer while I wait a few more weeks to see if I can interview there.
If anyone does learn anything more, please update this thread. Thanks!
Hi guys, I might be able to offer some additional info. I was called for a phone interview back in May, and was told then that a lot of positions were already filled (yet I applied to the NRP maybe 1 week after it was posted). I was first told I was in the running for a cardiac step-down unit, then in the phone interview I was told a surgical unit. After waiting for weeks, finally got a confirmation for an in-person interview and job shadow for the OR. Apparently I was supposed to be there today, but no one from HR ever called me to tell me that! They didn't exactly apologize for their error (I mean, come on...tell the interviewee where and what time!) but it was rescheduled for mid-July. OR isn't my first choice, but who knows.
