Float Pool RN Resume Help
I was wondering if anyone out there could give me some advice about updating my resume. I've only had one job as an RN and it is within the Float pool of a major teaching hospital. I'm not sure how to describe the position. I've seen a lot of resume advice about not writing generic nursing tasks, but to focus more on the tasks/meds/treatments that are unique to your specialty. Well I have no specialty. I know a little about a whole lot. I float to 16 different med/surg, cardiac, heme/onc (though not chemo certified), and one section of the ED (simple cases). How do I showcase my skills without being too lengthy. Any advice would be great. Thanks for reading!

School Nurse Salary?
I've been looking into school nursing in Boston and couldn't figure out salary. So it's thensame scale that they use for teachers? Do years working at a hospital count as experience? And they count partial masters credits as well for pay increases? It would still be a pay cut, but the hours, vacations, and summers are worth it! Plus a per diem job on the side. It also seems like their yearly increases are more than my 2% raise.

How'd it go??? What was it like? Give us some deats!!- memorial health Co springs new grad
Okay, I got the invite. It seems legit. I'm just wondering how many they are interviewing and how many they plan to hire. Anyone have any idea????- memorial health Co springs new grad
sure hope its not the same fair they planned last summer that apparently never happened.- UCH Residency July 2012
Ya I could have done better...but could have been worse. They didn't take that info like the email said, although it's prob in my application somewhere. I was just thrown off by the whole thing because I thought I'd be interviewing with one or both of my top choices, not 4 different people from all different units.- UCH Residency July 2012
so how'd the interviews go? I thought mine went okay. It was not what I expected.- memorial health Co springs new grad
so how long do we wait now that references are in....I hate waitingggg- memorial health Co springs new grad
Woooohoooooo got the reference check for New Grad!!!!!- UCH Residency July 2012
My interview is Tuesday June 5th. They said I'd get an email about what to bring and where to park etc. but I haven't received it yet, has anyone else?- UCH Residency July 2012
I actually feel more comfortable in a group interview as opposed to one on one. I think we are most likely only interviewing with our top two choices. Mine were General Surgery and Acute Care Elderly. I'm flying in from Boston. Super nervous! - memorial health Co springs new grad
