  1. Parks 71- I don't know how to PM could you PM me. I am also from Fl and trying to move out to CO and would love to get some advise on how to stand out. Thanks!!
  2. Hey! I graduated last year I am still in Fl though but my fiance is stationed at Buckley AFB!!! I will be moving there once I get a job! Good luck! PM with any questions you have...the base, Co, APts I am always up there!
  3. I no when I got my RN endorsed from FL to CO I just used Fl as my address and I got my license in like 2 weeks
  4. Mi Vida Loca...What unit do you work on and what Banner facility? I just applied to a pediatric position at the hospital in Greeley. My fingers are crossed that I at least get an interview I love working with kids and have always wanted to be a peds nurse.
  5. Anybody heard anything yet? Its been seven months since I applied and haven't gotten update since Aug. :/
  6. I am also from FL, trying to get to Co and only have my ADN. I have 6 months experience on a medical floor and have had absolutely no luck. I have come to the conclusion that I will probably stay untill after my 1 yr mark. But maybe you will have better luckk
  7. I want to say once i passed boards I has license in hand in 2 weeks and another two weeks till I had Co license in hand. But once you take the boards and pass you can get license number on line like a day or two after and send your paper work to get endorsed. Ya I heard that is a great residency but i didnt have my BSN so i couldnt Good luck!!! Are you in Fl now?
  8. No i am still not in Co I ended up getting my license in Fl then getting it endorsed and it was def the best thing to do. It only took like 2 weeks tops to get my license from CO. The job market is HORRIBLE in Colorado for new grads! I have applied to hundreds of jobs and now have 6 months experience on a medical unit and still nothing. If you can get a job where you are it might be worth it at the beginning then move to Co. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
  9. I am also anxiously waiting for this fair. She did send out an email a cpl days ago saying they are still working on it. Anyone have any idea how this fair is going to work?
  10. I graduated in Dec and have 3 months of med surg experience and have an interview next tues!!!!!
  11. My fiancee is at buckley AFB now! I dont think Aurora is horrible. I am a new nurse and trying to find a job out there now. Which is difficult but def possible. We have looked at many apartments out there and found some really nice ones. if you need any help let me know. I dont no if you are looking for apts or a house but anything I can help you with just say so!!
  12. No. Im actually from FL
  13. Hey! I just wanted to see if anyone else has been contacted for the ER residency or new grad position. I was contacted to input refernces for th ER position and am soooo excited!!! Hope they call me soon!!!
  14. Hey! I also am relocating when I graduate. I actually found a group on facebook for the state i was moving to for new grads and talked to some people. One person I became friends with and she is going to put a good word in for me :) Try something like that! Also I would get letters of recommendation from those nurse managers that liked you. That would look really good! Good luck!
  15. I am applying for a oncology position and I have emailed the nurse recruiter to find out who the one reviewing the applications would be. He emailed me back and gave me the nurse managers name but no titles such as RN, MSN etc. And I wanted to put it in the cover letter. Should I try to get ahold personally to the nurse manger and find out? or just leave it as is? Also, who would I contact to follow up and all? And how would I go about getting the nurse managers number? Sorry for all the questions but any help would be great!
