Licensed out of state right after graduation? Or in two states?
I want to say once i passed boards I has license in hand in 2 weeks and another two weeks till I had Co license in hand. But once you take the boards and pass you can get license number on line like a day or two after and send your paper work to get endorsed. Ya I heard that is a great residency but i didnt have my BSN so i couldnt Good luck!!! Are you in Fl now?

Licensed out of state right after graduation? Or in two states?
No i am still not in Co I ended up getting my license in Fl then getting it endorsed and it was def the best thing to do. It only took like 2 weeks tops to get my license from CO. The job market is HORRIBLE in Colorado for new grads! I have applied to hundreds of jobs and now have 6 months experience on a medical unit and still nothing. If you can get a job where you are it might be worth it at the beginning then move to Co. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

Networking....in another state?
Hey! I also am relocating when I graduate. I actually found a group on facebook for the state i was moving to for new grads and talked to some people. One person I became friends with and she is going to put a good word in for me :) Try something like that! Also I would get letters of recommendation from those nurse managers that liked you. That would look really good! Good luck!

nursing manager
I am applying for a oncology position and I have emailed the nurse recruiter to find out who the one reviewing the applications would be. He emailed me back and gave me the nurse managers name but no titles such as RN, MSN etc. And I wanted to put it in the cover letter. Should I try to get ahold personally to the nurse manger and find out? or just leave it as is? Also, who would I contact to follow up and all? And how would I go about getting the nurse managers number? Sorry for all the questions but any help would be great!
