I had a message from my sister that the books for the Nutrition course (distanced ed) were "between the doors" today at home and I might like to know! Yay!! My dh will be going home tomorrow (we're at camp) so can pick them up!
The time is getting close for this here big change!! Am I ready for it?? lol

Well, not literally because then how would I type but they are beside me!

Last night I looked through everything and installed a program, etc. There is also a cd with the text but I honestly haven't figured out if it's a supplement or the entire text or what. lol More exploring to do today!

Anyway, it's exciting to finally have some books after whining about it for "so long". lol

Dawn, did you get signed up for the course yet? Hope things are going smoothly with that!

I still have not registered, I am still waiting for my letter of permission. Right now I am thinking of walking down to the mailbox to see if I got it. I already have all the books for the course and last right read Unit 1. (Long story short, I was suppose to take it last year, but things came up and was not able to.) I am getting so nervous about school. I hope I am making the right decision. I guess I should save that for a PM or at least a different topic.

I went for my walk and sure enough my letter of permission was in my mailbox. So I will register for Nutrition tonight. YEAH :yelclap:

YAY!!!!!!!!!! So is your official start date Sept. 1? When are you planning to start? I looked at the pace they lay out and it doesn't look like it'll be too bad. I might start early but I will have to take a small break at the end of camp as I will be writing reports and stuff.

Anyway, AWESOME!! I'll send you a pm tomorrow .. but just wanted to say YAY here. We just had a movie night with the campers and then had fireworks and I'm SO BEAT (and stuffed up as the cook was burning garbage in a barrell and it seemed to be coming our way for part of the night. LOL! Nice, eh?

Wow, you're going to get ahead of me!! I won't be starting until next week sometime! Do you have a set schedule in mind? I will try to keep up/catch up.

Today we had a Middler Camp leave and are in the middle of welcoming a Family Camp. I'm not sure if I'll have time to start this weekend or not (but probably not). We have Tuesday off and then start a new camp on Wednesday afternoon, which is likely when I will be starting on unit one.

Hey, I do have a question for you .... I haven't looked at the cd rom with the text yet but is it a supplement? Talk soon .. I'm getting kicked out of my office haha.
