I started at 8.40am and I finished at 9.50am. 75 Questions, really hard, 2 right answers to every questions, a wide mix, no calculations. I am optimistic for a good result but to be honest I cannot say at this moment if I knew every answer. I basically tried to answer with the best answer, could not say if it was the right answer. Time will tell, I am glad to have it over. Good luck to everyone
i am taking kaplan class course starting tommrow.. i don't have a date for boards yet i just graduated may 14th. i am worried about boards also... my nerves are the worst... i get cranky . more than usual.. any tips on relaxtion ? did kaplan really help anyone? i heard Rn boards were harder now.. in what respect... ? i thought they were always hard... eeek i'm scared
I think it really just varies from person to person. A guy in my class took his last week in 75 questions and said he didn't think it was too bad. He thought the ATI we did in nursing school was much more challenging. However, I took mine yesterday afternoon, and I had a totally different take on it. I felt that it was very difficult, I won't lie...
I think the amount of medications I received is really what was tough for me. I couldn't even begin to tell you how many questions I got regarding meds and I just sat at my computer and though....SERIOUSLY...did they confuse my exam with that of a Doctor???
BEST OF LUCK TO YOU! I'm sure your experience will vary greatly just as mine has when I compared it to others...
