D-Day Today/ 75 Questions

Published

I started at 8.40am and I finished at 9.50am. 75 Questions, really hard, 2 right answers to every questions, a wide mix, no calculations. I am optimistic for a good result but to be honest I cannot say at this moment if I knew every answer. I basically tried to answer with the best answer, could not say if it was the right answer. Time will tell, I am glad to have it over. Good luck to everyone

I am only in my second semester, will graduate in may of 08. Got in quicker than i thought when i picked my name lol. I was wondering how soon after graduating can we take NCLEX? I realize their is paperwork involved and then scheduling, I have heard that the pass rate is dramaticly higher the sooner it is taken after graduation. Also i want to work 12 hour night shifts to be home more with my kids but am afraid i will be trained on days, 5 8hr shifts, which will take alot of my summer with the kids. Is that the usual training? Thanks for any info!

The nclex is only going up a fraction, search some of the posts here. The sooner your school send your info to the BOard of nursing, the sooner you can test, mine took about 6 weeks after graduating. Training differs , check around, get through school first, worry about babysitters later. It will all work out, I was in your position too

Hi Dalegirl, I feel the same way infact may be not that confident anyway good luck and prayers for you. Looking forward to giving and hearing the good news.

Good luck to you too, I am trying to keep saying to myself, surely i know some of the stuff and hopefully enough to pass. the waiting is not good but hopefully godwilling it will work out for us both:balloons:

I am will be one of the ones taking the NCLEX after the changes and I hope that with the changes the questions are easier. I graduate in May 5th so I am guessing around July I will be taking the test. I heard there is alot of pharm on the test and that is what we barely cover in school. I am going to take a pharm review class for $135 hopefully that helps

I suggest looking at Helen Feuer review, i think you can buy the review cds for pharm, it is audio and i found it helpful

Hello Dalegirl,

I wanted to know did you take the home study for Helen Feuer? How long did you study for the NCLEX after taking the review? Did you study anything else other than Helen Feuer?

Thanks

I borrowed the audio tapes from a friend and listened to them at home etc on an ipod. I also did Kaplan. I graduated dec, took kaplan in january, also listened to Feuer and did at least 100-150 question in a day. I took nclex march 15th. 75 qs in 70 mins, and i was successful thank god. Good luck

I am just finished taking Kaplan and I feel even more confused. I am ver anxious. I have 2 weeks before I take the exam and my stomach is all messed up now. I am doing questions everyday from Kaplan and Saunders. I hope that will help me. did you get any all that apply questions.
