Hello,

Has anyone applied to Cypress for spring 2020? I've applied and submit all of my documentation yesterday. Good luck to all!

I applied with 30 points... and I hope my calculations are correct. Did you only apply Cypress?

I've applied to Mt. SAC, and will be applied to Santa Ana College as well. How about you?

Hi guys, does anyone know how many application periods they have for each year? To what I know there're two, one around Feb (for Fall semester) and one in Sep (for spring semester), but someone also says there is only one period each year. So confusing. And if we are denied, do we have to re-do the whole process and just turn in additional documentation? Thank you

Hi everyone! I wasn't able to attend the last information session... is that a requirement for applying or is it open to everyone regardless of attendance?

@dnk11 It is a requirement, the dates are posted online for you to make a reservation I believe.

I thought it was not mandatory, but recommended. I read the application brochure, which states below:

Minimum Standards To Apply 1. Attend an information workshop. (Strongly recommended)

I could not attend before applying, but I submitted my application form last week. They checked my application packet, but I was not told anything about it.. hope it was ok.

@Hiro the selection criteria states, "Students seeking admission to the Cypress College Nursing Program are required to attend an information workshop."

Hi guys,

Im still so confused about the application periods. So If we got denied for the 1st time we applied, are we allow to update our application by turning in additional documentation?

Right now I do not have many working experience and volunteering hours. Can I just turn in my application with that section left empty and if Im not accepted, can I update my hours for next application period?

Thank you guys.

Hello! @Adang
I applied to Cypress for Spring 2019 and was put onto their waitlist. What this means is that every year you can just update your application and resubmit your required documents. For me, I was sent an email about a week or two ago to resubmit my application to remain on the waitlist since it will have been a year since I last submitted an application.
Hope this helps! ?

Thank you so much. But can we resubmit the required documents every year or every semester period? I mean if I apply for Spring 2020, can I resubmit the documents for Fall 2020?

Thank you for posting! I had a question about the TEAS though. Is it version 5 or 6 and when will you take it?

@Hiro @Quiche I emailed the nursing director who said that attending the workshop was recommended, not required. ?
