Hello everyone, I just got accepted to GWC nursing program and there are a couple of things that have me concern. When we transfer from ADN to BSN program, will csulb look at our overall gpa, and do they just take a certain amount of RN students ? Is it competitive to get in the BSN program in LB when you already had an RN degree or they will just accept you if you meet all the minimum requirements? If you already transferred from ADN to BSN program in csulb, would you mind share your experience? I would really appreciate that. Thank you. Best, Amy

Thanks a lot. I've never thought I would be accepted since my point is not enough to be competitive compared to the last cohort. But Im so happy now. To everyone that was not accepted yet, dont give up.

Hey guys, I just received the mail. It said that I have gained conditional admittance to the Spring 2020 and if I complete the Pre-enrollment requirements within the specified timeframes, I will be guaranteed a place in the class. "if you decide to decline the admission offer to the school of nursing, please let us know asap so that we may offer tour position to an alternate" Im not sure if I was accepted or put into the alternate pool.

Thank you guys for all of the responses. So I guess my doctor here is just ridiculous. I tried to double check with the counselor at cypress and it seems like I have no choice but leaving the doctor. He said the information I provided was wrong and Cypress was wrong which is ridiculous.

Hi guys, I am wondering if any one here have working experience that is more than 200 hrs. How did you have the letter from your boss/Doctor? I am in a very hard situation right now. I am applying to Cypress for Spring and I want a letter from my doctor so I could have more chance to get in. However, my doctor said he needs a form/link from the school sent to him so he can fill it out my hours, my position, experience i have gained at his office and the send it back to the school I am applying for. I asked Cypress and they said there is no form or link. I think I would have to quit my job at his office (which is 5 months already) and look for another one. My doctor said he has been doing this a lot of times for his staffs, but this is the first time he heard about schools not sending forms to Doctors. Anyone have experience about this?? Thank you so much. But can we resubmit the required documents every year or every semester period? I mean if I apply for Spring 2020, can I resubmit the documents for Fall 2020?

Hi guys, Im still so confused about the application periods. So If we got denied for the 1st time we applied, are we allow to update our application by turning in additional documentation? Right now I do not have many working experience and volunteering hours. Can I just turn in my application with that section left empty and if Im not accepted, can I update my hours for next application period? Thank you guys.

Hi guys, does anyone know how many application periods they have for each year? To what I know there're two, one around Feb (for Fall semester) and one in Sep (for spring semester), but someone also says there is only one period each year. So confusing. And if we are denied, do we have to re-do the whole process and just turn in additional documentation? Thank you

With 80+ points you will be likely to get in. But are we allowed to retake any course if we couldnt get an A? I asked a counselor if I could retake my public speaking class since I got a C but she said no.
