Hi! Has anyone receive a call from the school to pick up uniforms? I wonder if we can receive them at orientation week.. I was also wondering if anyone is interested in facebook group for 2020 cohort. I was deciding which school I should go, and chose this school. I am really hoping that I can get through 2 years. ??

I also received the email about live scan appointment last week. I kept calling the HR dpt to set up the appointment, but have not received anyone yet. For health clearance, did we have form to get filled out? It states in website that way, and I got a little confused..

Hi, I just saw the counselor today. I was actually told a little different numbers.... I was told that 90 students were selected to the counseling appointment. 60 students will be selected into the program, and 30 will be the alternate.. Orientation will be most likely 3 days in Dec. (about 8am to 4pm) My point was adjusted by 2 points up. I have international college BA. Many schools don't count the BA degree from different countries for nursing program, but Mt. Sac will count as far as it is evaluated, they said. If anyone has international college degree...

I thought it was not mandatory, but recommended. I read the application brochure, which states below: Minimum Standards To Apply 1. Attend an information workshop. (Strongly recommended) I could not attend before applying, but I submitted my application form last week. They checked my application packet, but I was not told anything about it.. hope it was ok.

Hi everyone! I also applied LA county. I got 13:30 for my interview.. is anyone having the same time? I applied with 89 points, but my weak point is I don't have health care work experience.. I am very nervous about this group interview, since I don't know what to expect.. (I believe that they will check how to work in the group, but I am not sure if I can express well in the situation..) Hi, I took Chem 51 at ELAC. When I met a counselor at PCC, I was told that Chem 51 can be considered as the chem prerequisite class at PCC.

Is this your first year to apply? This is my first year. I don't have AA degree, also no experience. So, I just took BLS and attached anyways. I could not apply LACC since one class is in progress... maybe apply next time if I did not get in anywhere this time. I applied at Rio Hondo and GCC so far. Planning to apply to PCC in April. ELAC in May, LA county in June... Hope we can get in !

Hi! I also applied to GCC. I actually did not know that we could choose 1st choice and 2nd choice.. I marked only weekday program as my choice. For GCC, 1st selection is the % system, but in term of teas for 2nd selection, it does not matter as far as you have above 62% or so... 2nd selection is lottery.. so I am hoping to have good luck on the 2nd selection...
