Cypress college RN program

Hi just wanted to see if anyone has applied to the RN program at cypress. Maybe we can talk with each other as we sit and wait for a decision. I just applied Sept 1st and am turning in docs tomorrow. We gotta stick together ladies!

Gizelle, I know...I know. I can't stand the waiting either. I feel restless and unsettled, waiting for "Something To Happen". I read some threads on Cypress from last fall and students were getting letters in the mail by November 22!

Ok so im trying to remember when is it they are suppose to reply to the applicants? Is it December 1st or the 10th ? I hope its the 1st....

When I went to the orientation in June, they said emails about acceptance would be sent out around Thanksgiving time. Waiting, waiting!!!

Yeah but isn"t there like a specific date cause I'm just ahahaha you know.

I am trying to get into the LVN-RN program at cypress college and I can't get any information out of anyone because I live out of state right now..do you guys have any info? like when the application period is or anything?

Yes well application period was in September and u need to attened an orientation they should have that schedual online. What other info do u need?

Well I am not planning on moving to california until the summer and the only time i will be able to go there for the orientations is march..so I guess what I'm asking is September the only application period for the Fall 2012? I am also under the impression that you do not have to have 1 years work experience..is that true? I really want to apply but I can't do anything until march.

I don't think u need 1 year experience and yes September is the only application period did u need to do micro physiology and anatomy for ur lvn? If not u need them and its a good idea to have ur math and english done ahead of time to

No I have all of my prerequisites done. I guess I won't be able to apply for the fall 2012 at all since they are only taken in September. This is the only school I've found in southern Cali that doesn't require a year work experience. Do they tell you how long the wait lists are?
