I got my acceptance email today too! I'm on cloud 9! I'll see you all on the 14th for orientation!

Thanks for sharing that info...I'm going crazy waiting too!

When I went to the orientation in June, they said emails about acceptance would be sent out around Thanksgiving time. Waiting, waiting!!!

Gizelle, I know...I know. I can't stand the waiting either. I feel restless and unsettled, waiting for "Something To Happen". I read some threads on Cypress from last fall and students were getting letters in the mail by November 22!

Oh, I must be losing my mind! I could have sworn yesterday when I looked at the catalog Nursing 190 (intro to nursing concepts) was a prerequisite to Nursing 192 (fundamentals) but now I just looked again and it's not ...ok.... never mind...sorry! So it looks like the 1st semester is Nursing 191, 192 and 193.

Guavaturtle, I was browsing through the Cypress catalog, looking at classes we have to take and it said Nursing 190 is a pre-requisite for Nursing 192-- isn't 192 the class you take 1st semester? Did you have to take 190?

Hi Guavaturtle, I have a question! I'm trying to plan ahead for childcare for my youngest. (I hope hope hope I get in!) Can you tell me what your first semester schedule was like? Days and times -- so I can start thinking ahead. Thank you for your input!

Hi Gizelle22, check out my post # 16 -- my docs aren't showing up yet either on the HS page, but they haven't even started inputting the info yet. Don't worry! She said as long as you brought your docs in and she didn't tell you then that you needed to bring anything else in, then you are ok, just sit tight. Easier said than done, right?!

@ Gizelle22, I heard back from someone at Cypress and the HS application websites have not been updated yet with what we've turned in -- so not to worry, they will get caught up and it will eventually reflect what we brought in. They've been too busy taking people's paperwork.

I know, it's freaking me out too. They're probably just not caught up yet but I may call in to double check, hate to be a pest tho. I'm not sure how we will find out how many points we ended up with...it's a mystery.

for Gizelle, I'm hoping I end up with 30 pts, if the accept my volunteer/work experience. Have you logged back on the the Health Sciences application on the Cypress website lately? I have turned in all my documents but the website says it's not turned in yet. What gives? Also, are you all taking any classes in the meantime this semester? I'm taking Chem 110 online (Coastline). Just so I don't get bored...

I also applied and turned in my documents. Hopefully the weeks will go by fast and we'll know something soon!
