Cypress college RN program

Hi just wanted to see if anyone has applied to the RN program at cypress. Maybe we can talk with each other as we sit and wait for a decision. I just applied Sept 1st and am turning in docs tomorrow. We gotta stick together ladies!

I know, it's freaking me out too. They're probably just not caught up yet but I may call in to double check, hate to be a pest tho. I'm not sure how we will find out how many points we ended up with...it's a mystery.

I just applied for Spring 2012 ! Good luck to all of you! I have a total of 28 points. would any of you care to share how many points you applied with?

Well if everything I turned in is accepted I should have 29 or 30. I heard last year cut off was 28 so we should be ok. I also hear that they are accepting veterans and their spouses this time ahead of points i just don't know how many or if the point people will suffer or the chronological list. Do you know anything about that?

@ Gizelle22, I heard back from someone at Cypress and the HS application websites have not been updated yet with what we've turned in -- so not to worry, they will get caught up and it will eventually reflect what we brought in. They've been too busy taking people's paperwork.

Hey lucky#3 have you checked the HS page? Do your docs show as received? Mine don't yet and I'm freaking out.

Hi Gizelle22, check out my post # 16 -- my docs aren't showing up yet either on the HS page, but they haven't even started inputting the info yet. Don't worry! She said as long as you brought your docs in and she didn't tell you then that you needed to bring anything else in, then you are ok, just sit tight. Easier said than done, right?!

Hi Guavaturtle, I have a question! I'm trying to plan ahead for childcare for my youngest. (I hope hope hope I get in!) Can you tell me what your first semester schedule was like? Days and times -- so I can start thinking ahead. Thank you for your input!
