Cypress college RN program

Hi just wanted to see if anyone has applied to the RN program at cypress. Maybe we can talk with each other as we sit and wait for a decision. I just applied Sept 1st and am turning in docs tomorrow. We gotta stick together ladies!:yeah:

Gizelle22, do I need to register for the classes or they will register me automatically? I went online and one of the nursing classes, I believe it was intro. to med- surg/ geriatric nursing and there was only one spot left!!!! What do I do? Thank you for being kind in answering my questions..

Hi no worries you have to register but even if it fills up they will give you an add code. You are guaranteed a spot just try to get pharmacology on campus I like that better. Why haven't you registered?

Hi te1990na, I am also accepted to the program, and I did register for NURS 191 and 192. However, when I tried taking NURS 193 (Intro to med-surg), I keep on getting an error message. Did you try registering? And by the way, I checked the open class list, and it still has 39 remaining seats. :)

That error that you got midz may be because for financial aid reasons they are making us wait to register for classes that require a prereq nursing class till the 1st day of class which is february 4th. So if it says you must complete 191 & 192 before 193 then this is the reason.

Gizelle22, I did not attend neither cypress nor Fullerton during the recent fall semester. Therefore, I was not assigned a registration date. I had to reapply for the next term in order to register for classes.

Thanks Gizelle22! I thought mygateway is acting up. Anyway, did you take any other class aside from 191, 192, and 193 during your first semester? Just wondering if it is possible to take more classes or those three are already overwhelming? Thanks again.
