Same with me, I did 6 months in a CVICU and it was incredible. Youll see things and do things youll never forget and the experience will make you an even better nurse. I carried a small pocket notebook around with me and wrote down everything and anything i learned and i still refer to it. Good luck!
Wow! Thanks for the well wishes and Insight guys! I hope by doing my preceptorship there I will be able to get a job. They do y hire a lot of new grads. Just a few about a few every other year or so from what I've observed and been told. They will CONSIDER some new grad applications this year i am told. Btw I've worked at the hospital where this unit is for going on 2.5 years as a CNA in the float pool. I hope that will make Meier desirable when the time comes up apply for new grads jobs in March. Idk. Anyway, I will enjoy this experience to the fullest! I will try to keep you guys updated on how things are going! Thanks Again!
