Yes, I took the PAX exam in September. Do you mean retaking the PAX exam? If it is, I remembered reading students are allowed to take it again after 6 months, couldn't recall where I read it though.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I read it too that students only able to take the PAX Exam once in a semester. However because of the pandemic they allowed students to take multiple PAX Exams. But I do not know if they still allowed that for Fall 2021 applications. I will email the department to make sure. I am planning to take the test twice on January and April or May. Any tips or study guide for the exam? Because it is been a while since I studied sciences and english is not my first language so I am kind of worried for the verbal and science section.

Hi Neha,

Yes, I would email the department to ask about taking multiple PAX exams.

I used the NLN Review Guide for RN Pre-entrance Exam 3rd edition (red cover) to prepare for the exam. It comes with CD-ROM and you can use it to practice. I also purchased the verbal and science practice tests from the NLN website. English is also not my first language so this is the hardest session for me due to the time limit. I also studied Science a long time ago but taking A&P classes in QCC helps.

The interview was over zoom. I watched a lot of Youtube videos on nursing interview related questions and with that I formulated my own answer cater to my life experience. You should definitely give a good reason as to why you want to pursue nursing and there are scenario question & how nurses are perceived in the media.

I took the class remotely last year. My Professor was really good but I don't think he teaches in the Summer.

Hello! BI 301 classes always filled up fast, my suggestion is for you to check CUNYFirst everyday to find the section you wanted. It is important to have the professor you wanted since this is a difficult courses.

Thank you guys for being so active on this thread, thought it was a bit old but needed advice. Unfortunately I registered late for the Summer section and was stuck between two professors that don't have high RMP ratings:(
