  1. Hello everyone! I am in my last year of nursing program (ADN), just wondering if any of you guys familiar with the process as f1 visa holder working as a nurse. There are some agency such as green staff, conexus, etc and if anyone have experience working with them or have any information that can be helpful, please let me know! THANK YOU!
  2. Hi sorry for getting back to you late! Yes as far as I know they will consider students that already complete micro, however if you really have a good grades in AP 1 and 2, they will consider you, and you have to earn that good pax score too. Another advice is, not to take the classes in rush, because taking A&P class during Summer will be tough, but doable. If you feel confident, go for it! But I just want to give you heads up, since we are not able to repeat pre requisite classes. Good luck!
  3. Little bit of advice: take 301 classes that have SI session. I think for next Fall semester they have two section that will have SI session. It is going to be helpful for you since they will provided study section after the class.
  4. Hello! BI 301 classes always filled up fast, my suggestion is for you to check CUNYFirst everyday to find the section you wanted. It is important to have the professor you wanted since this is a difficult courses. Good luck!
  5. Hello! I have different experience with J Estrella and my other friends from micro have different experience too. I think it depends on who interview you. Mine was critical thinking questions such as case study and what is happening in nursing field right now (For instances covid). There is no introduction and general questions. Everyone have to think fast. I am not satisfied with my answer but I think it was okay (?) ?
  6. Hi everyone! Good luck with your application. I already have my interview yesterday..How do you guys feel with the interview? I am not satisfied with my answer? But I guess we can only wait..
  7. Thank you for sharing! It helps a lot! All the best to you too:)
  8. Thank you for your reply. Yes I read it too that students only able to take the PAX Exam once in a semester. However because of the pandemic they allowed students to take multiple PAX Exams. But I do not know if they still allowed that for Fall 2021 applications. I will email the department to make sure. I am planning to take the test twice on January and April or May. Any tips or study guide for the exam? Because it is been a while since I studied sciences and english is not my first language so I am kind of worried for the verbal and science section. Thank you for your help!
  9. Hello H2BNi24. I will apply for the Fall 2022 nursing program too in Spring. Do you already take the PAX Exam? Did they still allowed you to take multiple exams? Thank you and good luck on your application!
  10. Hello, I am going to start my pre-nursing program in January. I am not eligible to apply to nursing school yet:)
  11. Thank you for all the kind words! this is going to be a long journey, and sure I will do what makes me happy! Thankyou again for supporting me:)
  12. Thank you for replying and make everything clear! I understand now that if I want to apply to CRNA school, I can not work in a pediatric hospital ICU. But I still can be CRNA and working in a pediatric hospital, right? Thank you once again?
  13. Hello. I am an 18 years old student, and I will start my ADN program in Spring 2021. I just wanted to asked. Can I work in a pediatric hospital as a CRNA? My family wants me to pursue my nursing career and CRNA. I want to make my parents happy and become proud of me, so I agreed to become a CRNA. During this quarantine, I explored CRNA, and I started to like working as a CRNA. But, when I learn about a pediatric nurse, what they do and imagine myself taking care of children, I feel happy and sparks joy. My family won't support me in becoming a pediatric nurse for several reasons, and they really wanted me to become a CRNA. Can I pursue them both? Can I work in a pediatric hospital as a CRNA? Is there anything I have to consider? Is there any alternative pathway for me? Or I have to choose between becoming a pediatric nurse and CRNA? Thankyou so much ?
  14. Thank you for all the information! It is so helpful for me ? There is one condition, I am from Indonesia, and I am planning to go to NY next year hopefully if QCC going offline for Spring 2021. Because of those circumstances, I can not attend the class, and I can not get my BCLS certificate. It is okay, or it will affect my grades and qualification for getting into nursing school? Because I think based on this situation I have to do my pre-nursing school online from Indonesia, but I hope everything will eventually go normal.
  15. Hello, I’m planning to pursue my nursing career by going to QCC in Spring 2021. Are there any of you who will go to QCC next year? and any advice for pre-nursing students?? Thanks a lot!!?
