CUNY Queensborough (QCC) - Spring 2022

Hello Everybody, I'm creating this post in order to follow up with each other regarding the application to nursing program at 

CUNY Queensborough (QCC) - Spring 2022 which will open in October 2021 
please post your GPA, Pax Score if you don't mind. 
I want also to know if anybody knows how the speech test is? 
I suppose to  take it, but I don't have an idea about it.

Hi does anyone know if the Pax and HESI are kind of equivalent like if your were to transfer but took the HESI at your other school

'They are both nursing entrance exams that help nursing schools gauge how success you will be in nursing school. Different nursing schools use different software programs (I think it is the nursing school’s preference). They essentially test you on the same thing but PAX RN and HESI A2 do have some differences. For example, the PAX RN only focuses on three testing categories such as Math, Verbal Skills and Science. While on the other hand HESI A2 tests you on Math, Reading, Grammar, general knowledge, vocabulary, anatomy and physiology, biology, and Chemistry. Plus it has a personality section that analyzes your personality.'

Does anyone know when we'll hear back from the nursing department regarding the application status?

I'm guessing in mid December after we get our final grades. Did you have an interview?

SO I just got my acceptance email. Anyone get theirs yet?

hi , Laflame .. Congratulation .. I had to withdraw my application and will next semester . may we know you GPA and NLN score if you don't mind .

I just got an email today asking me when I will be taking Bio311 since I haven't taken it yet. Congratulations! I hope I get in soon!

Appreciate it! So this is my second time applying, the first time I applied with a 3.6overall GPA, 3.5 on the pre-req and a 126 on the pax. This semester I focused on my pax score raised it to a 136 (the GPA being the same) I also focused on interview questions, watched a lot of Youtube videos and prepped my answers.

well , nice job .. I wish you best of luck . did you finish Microbiology  yet .

I wish you a good luck . make sure what respond is good for them before u respond . it may affect your acceptance
