Hey Cat. I don't even know if I am accepted to CUNY-Hunter as a Transfer student yet. What is a commitment deposit???? I am still waiting for the decision about my Transfer application.
Did you get accepted to CUNY-Hunter? (not the nursing program)
From what I understood their application procedure, you first have to be accepted to CUNY-HUNTER (as a transfer student if from other schools) to be also considered for their accelerated nursing program....I am pretty sure I will get the decision next week so I will let you know!

Yeah, I got accepted into the college itself and the commitment deposit is $100 by May 1st? That's weird that you didn't receive a decision yet.. they emailed me last month. Maybe you should try calling them?
yes, I will call them on monday. did you apply as a Transfer too??
Yep, I applied as Transfer.
I see, that is so weird that I still haven't heard from them. anyway thank you!!!!!

Hey guys,
I just read all of your posts and have a couple of questions/comments.
I am also a transfer student from another CUNY school and already have a Bachelors from elsewhere. I did receive a notice from Hunter that I've been accepted as a transfer student but did not see anything about the $100 deposit. Can anyone tell me where I should look? I definitely don't want to loose all this time over not paying the deposit....
By the composite score, do you all just mean the pre-NLN exam or do you mean the exam plus your GPA? I thought the was really tough and stressful. I took it at another location and we had people walking out in the middle, not even trying to complete it... I got 139, so I guess I'm in the range.... But 32 people only... wow that's very scary.
is anyone currently a student from hunter graduating with their bachelors this june and applied to the nursing program? did we have to be accepted into the school itself. im confused
I believe that was just for those who are not currently enrolled at Hunter. If you are already a student, I doubt you have to apply again.

In the admission email that they sent you, there should be a username and password that they give to you log onto their "MyChoice" site. The thing with the deposit is that its non-refundable after you pay.. so I'm not even sure if I should pay or not yet. We haven't even heard anything back from the program yet...
