Has anyone seen this addendum on the nursing curriculum packet page 9 for the 2017-2018 school year? I'm really, really hoping they're not adding any more prerequisites because I'm chomping at the bit to leave my current career and another year would be so hard!
"Based upon current curriculum planning these course requirements may change slightly, once finalized a transition plan will be put into place."
Does anyone know if they actually put in the courses they used and let you know what they calculated out the GPA to be? I got my calculation based on the courses I went
over with my advisor and what she told me they would use. I'm sure she's correct but I have so many options on what they could use for things like math and English I'm so stressed they'll accidentally over look a higher grade for a lower one! I'm probably just paranoid, but this whole process is so stressful! Lol
@FutureRN203 They will always calculate your GPA in your favor. However, that doesn't mean they can't miss something. So, my recommendation would be to keep checking mycommnet. If there is a discrepancy in classes and they use one with a lower grade, I would contact them as soon as you notice and ask them to consider the higher grade for that requirement.
@xoCrash stop itttt!! You're making me want to check haha
@FutureRN203 That's what I figured, however a woman who works in the admissions office at Gateway (my first choice) said that she didn't know if they would accept it because there were two CT Community College Statistics courses and one of them is lower than the MAT 137 requirement. Anyone know anything about that?
@FutureRN203 Mine was 141. I took it at Keene State College when I got my Bachelor's in Biology. It was the Math requirement for that degree so I just assumed that it would satisfy the requirement for the CTCC Nursing Program. The woman from the admissions office worried me though when she said that. I just hope that it is accepted.

Already broke the seal.. I keep checking to see if my grades have been input and my GPA has been calculated.
