Hey guys! Starting a new thread for this upcoming application cycle for CT community college nursing program! This will be my second time applying I was waitlisted last year at Northwestern #9 and I don't think they're going to be calling me off. (At the time of application, I did not have anp2 or micro completed) Feel free to post stats, ask questions etc..Applying is so stressful and nerve-wracking, we're in this together and good luck to everyone!
They just say first week of April. Last year it was on the 9th I believe. They send an email the day before decisions are released.

Guys do they include Math and Chem when calculating our Nursing GPA?
The nursing info packet says the nursing GPA consists of Microbiology, general psychology, lifespan development, sociology, eng 102, both anatomy classes, and Chemistry. English 101 and a math are also mentioned so maybe those too.

Capital is a joke school. I feel bad for anyone who enters their program. They don't care about you, they just want your money. And a huge shout out to the admissions department, you guys all deserve to work at Walmart since none of you knows how to do your jobs!

They literally sent me an email stating I'm not eligible for admission due to missing transcripts. I have a paper trail stating I submitted everything. The admissions ady told me basically, "oh well, apply next semester!" I was livid! She transfered me to the nursing department which transfered me back to admissions (this time I got someone else) and then they transfered me back to the nursing department. I left 2 voice-mails and 3 emails. Sorry, but I will not be re-applying. If they can't get this together and can't communicate with me or each other, I can only imagine how they treat their students. I'm very disappointed, but I know I dodged a bullet here. Good luck to you all!

Have you reached out further up the chain? Like to the dean or something? I'm so sorry that happened! If you submitted everything & you have proof, they shouldn't be able to just not consider you, especially this late in the game...
Did you not get an email in early March about your application having some missing items? I know they sent one out like that last year.
