Hey guys! Starting a new thread for this upcoming application cycle for CT community college nursing program! This will be my second time applying I was waitlisted last year at Northwestern #9 and I don't think they're going to be calling me off. (At the time of application, I did not have anp2 or micro completed) Feel free to post stats, ask questions etc..Applying is so stressful and nerve-wracking, we're in this together and good luck to everyone!

Stats:

Anp1, A-

Anp2, A-

Micro, A

TEAS-76

Nursing GPA 3.7

Specializes in None.

I definitely dropped the ball on checking my email. I did receive it, but did not see it until I got a call from the school asking me to check my email and then it was too late. It's more my fault than the school's, but I really wish they did a better job at communicating. So after actually getting a response, they finally admitted they've received all my transcripts except on college I went to 15 years ago and wasn't even considered college credit and due to me not sending "ALL" my transcripts they disqualify me for that.

We find out this week!! Looking through previous years threads, it looks like they'll send out an email on Thursday letting us know that everything will be posted on Friday! I think someone mentioned 9am as well. Good luck everyone!!

Good luck! ?
Oh, are the decisions normally out on Fridays? Last year it was posted on a Thursday (April 8th). Maybe last year was a fluke? ?

You're right! Someone on there said Fridays but they posted on Thursday! I'll take that over waiting another day!

Hopefully! Maybe we'll get lucky & it'll come even earlier than that!
Sending lots of good vibes to you all; the anticipation is getting super intense!!

I'm really sorry about this experience that you had ? I went to an info session & was told to check my email frequently because that's where they'd send any communications through, but it seems like maybe that wasn't communicated clearly to you. Hopefully next year, if you decide to apply again, you have a better experience!

Hey guys! Found this thread trying to find when Gateway released decisions in prior years. This is my first year applying so the nerves are kicking in! I'm not sure of my exact GPA because I have a bachelors already, so I don't know which class they'll choose for my elective? So best guess, these are my stats:

AP1 - A

AP2  - in process

TEAS - 81.3

GPA - 3.53

So my rank would be 89.45 then? I would have a 3.58 if they count my A in Lifespan, but that ended in March so I think that's after they calculate grades. I don't think that's enough for Gateway but we'll see!

This is so funny, because you're like the opposite of me- I'm too nervous so my Outlook notifications are off, I check once per day and that's pretty much all I can handle ? Ahhh good luck though! Which school did you apply to?

I'm at that point where I'm sending myself emails to make sure my email is working properly
