CSUSM ABSN Summer 2021

Anyone planning on applying to CSUSM's ABSN for Summer of 2021? I know it's early, but their priority deadline is Septmber 30th, 2020. I was hoping we could consolidate questions/info on this thread as we go along.

I have one more prereq to go (anatomy this Summer) before my app is complete. Where is everyone else at in the process?

Yea it should be within 24 hours or so of the portal saying you’re admitted

Oh wow, everyone has such great luck! Congratulations!! Keeping my fingers crossed because I have 36 points also. T____T (my portal still shows completed application).

Ahhhh congratulations!! I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll be lucky if there’s anymore waves of acceptances. 
 

Does anyone know if our application automatically rolls over for the next cycle if we don’t get selected for Summer 2021?

I believe it does (or you just have to resubmit it). You're only charged the application fee once a year so it should just roll over.

For anyone wondering, they did a third wave of acceptances for Summer 2021. My portal status changed to “admitted” today! No official email yet, so I guess I will wait for that before I accept. ?

Hi guys! I had recently submitted an updated transcript with a 5 unit course (got an A) that I took during Fall 2020 prior to receiving the acceptance and that was calculated into my "last 60 units" GPA. My total points ended up being bumped up to 37 points. ?

Hi everyone! It’s great to see all of you who’ve gotten acceptance emails! 

 

Im currently still waiting to hear back to see if I will get accepted into the Summer ABSN program and I have 31 point. Sadly, it’s a bit low, but seeing people getting accepted w 34 brings me a bit of hope. 
 

Anyone else here in the 30-34 rangewho’s heard back yet?

Hi everyone! I'm wondering if anyone knows whether or not they will let us know when the cohort is full? Although I'd be happy to start in fall too, I'm really hoping to get in to the Summer 2021 start since I live in Temecula, but was still finishing my last prerequisites fall 2020, and so my final transcripts weren't sent until a few weeks ago. I just got my evaluation sheet today and from the earlier posts on here it seems like they've already done 3ish rounds of acceptances. I'm hoping there is still room.
