CSUSM ABSN Summer 2021

Anyone planning on applying to CSUSM's ABSN for Summer of 2021? I know it's early, but their priority deadline is Septmber 30th, 2020. I was hoping we could consolidate questions/info on this thread as we go along.

I have one more prereq to go (anatomy this Summer) before my app is complete. Where is everyone else at in the process?

I would hang in there! This is probably the first wave and not everyone who got in will necessarily accept their spot. You might be in the second wave so sit tight!

Yeah, this is good advice. 

I'm waiting on APU's decision and will decline my spot for CSUSM if I do get into APU, so don't give up hope yet!

I just got an email that I got conditionally accepted to the program. Anyone else got a letter back?

I haven’t gotten an email yet, but I’m guessing it’ll show up in the communication center if I don’t get an email?

Hey @bmancilla21, most likely! But I know for some, the status on their portal still says "completed application." I would email them just in case.

I got accepted LOL but I haven’t gotten an official email. My student center just says “intent to enroll submitted” because I paid the deposit yesterday ?

Looking at the calendar for next year's semesters, I would guess June 7th?

I just want to make sure I’m not missing something. Did anyone get background check/drug test info? I’m concerned that that will also be due in 14 days and I’m going to have to get time off work to try to do that unless places are open on weekends.

Same here! I will be graduating in about two weeks, and all I have to do is send in my transcript!!

I also never got an email, just the student center portal. I paid the fee and it says I’ve been conditionally admitted cus my application status is saying I’m intending to enroll. But I’ve received zerooooo emails regarding acceptance letter or background/drug testing. I wonder if everything is kind of delayed? But with a short window for the drug test I’d like to know so I can plan around work LOL
