CSUSM ABSN Summer 2021

Anyone planning on applying to CSUSM's ABSN for Summer of 2021? I know it's early, but their priority deadline is Septmber 30th, 2020. I was hoping we could consolidate questions/info on this thread as we go along.

I have one more prereq to go (anatomy this Summer) before my app is complete. Where is everyone else at in the process?

I have 36 points and got in. Try checking again

I'm curious for those that got in: Are you guys accepting the offer or are you waiting on other schools before making a decision?

I had 40 points and my friend had 37 points and we both got in!

Also, does anyone know when the deadline is to accept/decline the admission decision? Im also wondering if I should wait for other schools...

It doesn’t say! I would email your counselor tomorrow and ask if you’re wanting to wait on other schools

ahhhhh, if the status still says “completed application”, is it safe to assume we got rejected? I also had 36 points...?

aww im not sure, because they already released acceptance emails. ? from my previous experiences of many rejections, schools seem to send rejection emails a couple of hours/days after they sent acceptance and waitlist.

I would hang in there! This is probably the first wave and not everyone who got in will necessarily accept their spot. You might be in the second wave so sit tight!

Not necessarily! They usually have a couple waves of acceptances especially as people don’t accept their offer. Also CSUSM doesn’t send rejection emails fyi.
