California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) ABSN Fall 2023

I submitted my application last month and have received my evaluation. I have a total of 43 points. I am curious as to when we will receive our acceptance letters. I'm so eager to hear back!

Hi all! I submitted my app and e-transcripts all on 3/7 and received my evaluation sheet 3/22. I got 39 points ?

Hello! I submitted my application on 3/8 but my last transcript was received by the school on 3/10. I still have not received my evaluation and I'm kind of worried I will not be consider for Fall 2023. Hopefully this is not the case tho.

I'm in the same boat as you. I had one CC having a delay in their transcript delivery system so they sent it to CSUSM about 2 days after application deadlines. I wonder if that's why we haven't gotten our evaluation sheets. very nervous because I spoke to the admissions officer who told me that in some cases, if the transcripts are late, it means we aren't necessarily considered for fall admission but rather for Winter. 

My transcripts got delivered late as well. Have any of you received an evaluation yet?

no, I haven't /: I called the admissions office like a week ago and she told me my application status was 'ready to be evaluated' but I don't know why it still hasn't been

For what it's worth, it seems like this admissions cycle seems much quieter than the ones in the past. Evaluations normally took longer to receive in the past, which makes me think there's not a huge batch of applicants this time to sort through. So, it may be more likely this cycle to still secure a seat even if you missed the deadline.

Congrats on your points! May I ask when you submitted your application and transcripts? Still waiting on my eval so I'm wondering when I can expect mine

I submitted my app March 6 and sent my transcripts electronically to admissions on the same day but I don't think they were delivered until March 7.

Any updates? I know I should just wait but I'm just eager to hear back and am wondering if I'm alone.

I actually heard back from them yesterday. maybe you can try to call admissions and see if they can help you out

Thanks. I emailed and am still being considered for Fall as of now. I think they just haven't gotten to my evaluation yet.
