Hi all, anyone planning on applying to CSUSM's ABSN for Fall of 2021? 

I think my overall points are between 40-41, do you think it's a safe score? I was wondering if I should take the TEAS exam again, I got 80.7, but I'm completely exhausted. I completed all the 8 prerequisites courses and TEAS in only 12 months and I need some rest, LOL

Hi everyone! I have submitted my application. I was wondering if they do rolling decisions or do we have to wait for our decisions until after the March deadline?

I spoke to someone last week, decisions are not expected until mid-April. They have begun the review process and you will receive your "scoresheet" before decisions have been made, so you'll know where you stand. In the past they have given those they accept 2 weeks to accept the offer, if someone doesn't accept they move down to their list of names. People do get in off the waitlist, but the number varies each year/term.

Cumulative last 60: 3.9

pre req: 3.45 (I have a c in chem and am retaking it this semester I took it a long time ago)

TEAS: 88.7

I wasn’t going to but I am just to see since my prereq isn’t horrible (but obvs could be better)

Hi everyone, I applied for Fall 2021 as well! 

Here are my stats:

Pre req GPA: 3.75 | Last 60 GPA: 3.96 | TEAS: 88%

I received my evaluation sheet back already and got 41 points.

Good luck to everyone ahh! I think we all have a great shot at getting in, we got this! The waiting makes me so anxious...

Sounds like you have a great chance! How long did it take for you to get your evaluation sheet? I’ve been waiting for about 5 weeks already and I’m super anxious about it.

Hello there! Thank you so much! I'm crossing my fingers so tight ?

It actually took quite a long time for me to get my evaluation sheet back. I submitted my application + transcripts near the beginning of November (like around the 10th I think) and I got a confirmation that my application was received on December 3rd. Then I got my evaluation sheet back on January 21st.

I attended an info session last year and they said that it usually takes about 6 weeks for them to send you your evaluation sheet back so hopefully yours comes soon!

Thanks for the intel @abeansnrice I submitted all my transcripts at the end of December when I completed the Fall term and grades were posted. For some reason an extra school that I didn't add got listed in my student center stating transcripts were required. I had to jump through a few phone calls in order to get someone to finally remove it. My application went into review Jan 28th, so hopefully early March I'll hear. My own score calculation put me at 43 points, but I'm not entirely sure about the 60 credits bit so I might be slightly off.

My pre-req GPA was 4.0 and I got an 88.9% on the TEAS.

That's so awesome! I wanted to ask if you received the evaluation sheet to your personal email or a CSUSM email account? I haven't been able to create a CSUSM email due to not being enrolled in classes so I was wondering. Thanks in advance ?

I have not been able to create a CSUSM email either. I received the evaluation sheet through my personal email! The one I used on Cal State Apply ?
