CSUSM ABSN Fall 2021

Hi all, anyone planning on applying to CSUSM's ABSN for Fall of 2021? 

I think my overall points are between 40-41, do you think it's a safe score? I was wondering if I should take the TEAS exam again, I got 80.7, but I'm completely exhausted. I completed all the 8 prerequisites courses and TEAS in only 12 months and I need some rest, LOL

I had to turn down a spot last Friday, so there’s at least one more opening!

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

Hi all-

I decided to compile some CSUSM point stats from this forum for Fall 2021 applications (for anyone looking for some indication). These are the points accepted applicants had (please note- some chose not to accept the offer):

-50, 49, 44 (x2), 45 (x3), 43, 41 (x2), 38 (=Total of 11 students participating in this forum). This is about 18% of the 60 applicants per cohort. 

Because Summer 2021 cohort had AVR overall points of 39.27 (range 34-47), I believe AVR for Fall'21 will be even higher.

Very competitive indeed.

I am just curious if work experience is a big factor taken into account for applicants, or if the majority of people who got accepted did not have any. Thank you!

Hello,

There are no points for work experience.

The points are accumulated by: GPA of last 60 units, GPA of nursing core prerequisite classes and TEAS exam score.

Hi guys I just found out yesterday that I got in for fall 2021! I will be moving so does anyone have any tips, advice, or insight on where to live or areas around the school/city? Anything helps!
