CSUSB Fall 2016

Published

I realize it may be early, but I wanted to start a thread for the CSUSB Fall 2016 nursing program hopefuls. I'm sure we will all have a lot of questions about application deadlines, letters of recommendation, points, TEAS, etc. It will be nice to have a community where we can ask each other questions and offer advice. Eventually we can share stats, and we may even end up in the same cohort!

Anyone else worried about making the 6/30 final transcript deadline? My class ends 6/11 :nailbiting:

For those of you that mailed in your application, did you get a confirmation that it has been received or a receipt of some sort?

No, but you can call and they're very helpful as to let you know what they received. :)

Got my university acceptance :) one step closer!

Congrats! Do you have courses in progress that counted towards the 60 transferable units to CSUSB?

Yes, I do. Just one class. Microbiology. :) I got a call from the university yesterday. They needed my most recent transcripts that reflected my current enrollment. Then I got the email today with my acceptance. :)

I just got my acceptance to the university too :)

Has everyone gotten accepted to the university yet?

I haven't.

What does that mean

Got mine on the 5th. Maybe call your counselor? Also, you should share your points, so we can add you to the list! :)

I don't have a councilor I don't go to csusb.

And how do u calculate the scores

I don't go to Csusb either. When I sign onto my coyote portal and go to the place where I can view my admission status, I can see the name and number of my counselor. Or call admissions! The guideline for how to calculate the points is somewhere near the beginning of this thread :) you need to know your gpa and overall individual adjusted teas score. You also get points for bilingual proficiency, letters of recommendation, residency, etc. if you can't figure it out, you can post your stats and we will help you figure it out :)
