Hey everyone!
I know it may be early, but I wanted to start a thread for the CSUSB Fall 2018 nursing program. I'm sure we will have questions about application deadlines, letters of recommendation, points, TEAS, etc. Eventually we can share stats
This is the point system I saw in another CSUSB thread. Best of luck!
P.s I called today and these are the stats for fall 2017
Average GPA: 8.4
Average teas test: 83%
GPA - 30 points possible
3.00 - 3.05 = 11 points
3.06 - 3.10 = 12 points
etc...
Increase by 1 point every 0.05 until you reach the maximum (3.96 - 4.00 = 30 pts.)
TEAS test Version V - 15 points possible
70.0 - 71.9 =1 point
72.0 - 75.6 = 2 points

Hi guys! I currently live in Northern California and got accepted to the Palm Desert Campus today! While I am very excited to get an acceptance letter, it is also extremely far from where I live and was wondering if anyone could help me figure out if this Campus is well worth it. I know nothing about the Palm Desert school and have tried researching it, but I'm not finding much. Also, what is the difference between the Palm Desert campus and San Bernardino Campus other than location? Any advice or help is appreciated!! I have to mail in my acceptance by tomorrow if I choose to go there! Thanks guys, and good luck to everyone!!
(my stats: 4.0 gpa, 83% Teas, attended info session, points for HS spanish)

Palm Desert is a much smaller campus. I don't know anything more about it. I would research what is in Palm Desert. You're pretty far to just come and settle for 3 years, but I'm sure you'll love it! Maybe you could call that campus and ask questions? Anyways, congrats on getting accepted!!

From what I've heard and seen it's an amazing campus, the cohort is smaller which I feel is great for more one on one with professors and a closer learning experience. I got accepted there as well and can't wait! I would say definitely worth it
I got my acceptance letter and just accepted, the school of nursing explained that the first round of acceptance letters were mailed and those applicants have until June 1 to reply then if there are spots still open they will contact the next round of applicants. I look forward to meeting everyone in August!
p.s. stats were 3.65 overall, 4.0 prereq, 94.0 TEAS, not bilingual or San Bernardino resident.
