  1. I got my acceptance letter and just accepted, the school of nursing explained that the first round of acceptance letters were mailed and those applicants have until June 1 to reply then if there are spots still open they will contact the next round of applicants. I look forward to meeting everyone in August! p.s. stats were 3.65 overall, 4.0 prereq, 94.0 TEAS, not bilingual or San Bernardino resident.
  2. Oops, they don't actually use a strict "points" system but did report giving "strong preference" to current San Bernardino residents as well as bilingual students.
  3. The info session was pretty much a review of the points listed on the school of nursing website. When I went it was held in their skills lab so it was interesting to me to see the machines students use to learn with. I think they also broke the points down and emphasized that current SB residents get priority. They also explained that some of the rotations could be a little far from the school. Oh, and I think bilingual students were also given preference.
  4. congrats Tara!! Are you already a SB county resident, or will you be moving? Are you going to accept the offer? Thanks in advance!
  5. Has anyone heard about their application yet? I think we are supposed to hear by mail by June 1st 🙈😬
  6. Has anyone received a waitlist or denial email? I haven't heard anything yet, though I thought we were supposed to be informed either way last week?
  7. I will go on Thursday... Reincarnated did you have yours already? How many people were in the group?
  8. I just got an interview email (Tuesday night 3/28. The interview is for just over a week from today... if I'm offered a spot I believe I'll accept, but mostly just feeling grateful to have the opportunity to interview for now! I posted my stats on the previous page fyi!
  9. Hi guys! I applied for the Fall 2018 BSN at the Palm Desert Campus. I attended the info session and I don't remember hearing anything about letters of recommendation?? Did anyone else get this info or where did the original poster hear this? My stats are 3.65 overall GPA, 4.0 prereq GPA, I attended the info session, 94.0 TEAS, not bilingual or a SB resident. Good Luck everyone!
  10. Hi Reincarnated, Thanks, that's useful information... I don't have volunteer experience but I believe it's in the same category as previous work in a clinical setting which I do have 3 years of recently and a total of 7 years.. I don't have multicultural experience though, in fact, I don't really know what that means? Can you or anyone else explain what they submitted as multicultural experience? Thanks again!
  11. I'm still waiting and hoping for an interview. My stats are overall GPA 3.65, prereq GPA 4.0, 3 years work experience in a clinical setting, 94.0 TEAS. I don't speak another language or have any military affiliation. I have tried calling their office and it's voicemail each time but I hope what the other poster said is true and that they are continuing to set up interviews! I did think my stats were good enough to qualify me at least to that point, we'll see! Congrats to those interviewing and good luck to everyone!
