Not sure if it has been made already, but I decided to make a forum for Spring 2019 applicants for Sacramento State!
Do we know how many people have been accepted off the waitlist unofficially? I'm pretty far down in the waitlist so I don't know if I'll make it. I got accepted to SRJC, but that's a 2 hour commute with a baby... yikes! Also why were the 10 spots held? And does that mean that alternate # 10 is really alt 1 and so on?

I emailed her about that and she said that those 10 spots were left open for some students who WOULD have been admitted if they clear up any discrepancies. So im assuming that answers that and also how people become ineligible. I am hoping for a wait-list update soon, because Fall 2019 apps are due in two days, and I do not want to drop hundreds on apps without sac state telling me about my spot

Thanks for letting me know. I hope we hear something soon. Wishing you luck!
Yes, I got alt #4 at Chico, but will be declining my seat, if offered, since sac was my first choice :) To everyone who asked, I was alternate #2 at sac state and just received my official acceptance e-mail last night (yesterday the ITE was due) so hopefully everyone should be getting good news shortly, I have my fingers crossed for all of you anxiously waiting! Has anyone created a Facebook group? I would be happy to, if not
Let us know if you end up starting a FB group!
Hello all, I'd like to apply for the Fall 2019 term, or Spring 2020. Looking at all your posts, I'm frankly nervous.
Did any one get accepted, or wait-listed for Spring 2019 with less than 70 points? Does SacState only consider these numbers? Is there not a personal statement required for application?

Hi, I assume you already got the acceptance email for Chico. I was kind of hopeless regarding all the schools already, but today's email gave me hope again. I am 21st in the waitlist for Chico, and the email said that they were up to the 14th spot, and if you decline your offer, well, 15th. hahah I thought the rollercoaster was over, but I am nervous again hehe.

Hi, yes! I just gave up my seat this morning :)

Did you ever hear back? I would assume they held these seats back to give people a chance to review their letters for errors- like the person on this thread who turned in the language form, but wasn't getting the points. It was probably a safeguard since the time frame was shortened with acceptances delayed from the fire. Just a guess!
