I noticed that there wasn't a thread posted for CSUN ABSN 2015 yet so I thought I'd start one I'm currently a student at CSUN finishing my BA in psychology (I will be graduating this December). I can hardly wait to start nursing school! I wanted to start this thread so us CSUN applicants can get to know each other.

have you gotten an email from Environmental Health and safety at CSUN,regarding (HIPPA & BLOOD BORNE PATHOGENS)?

To satisfy the HIPPA/BBP requirement just find any online training and you will be fine. I did mine BBP w/ Red Cross. It was $25. But I know others found it even cheaper on other sites.

@Emily, are you coming to csun for sure? If yes I can send you orientation PowerPoint and add you to the fb group where more info has been posted

How do we go about signing up for classes? My registration date is for sometime after summer session starts so I'm not really sure how we go about it. Or does the nursing dept enroll us allautomatically in what we need?
