CSUN ABSN 2015

I noticed that there wasn't a thread posted for CSUN ABSN 2015 yet so I thought I'd start one I'm currently a student at CSUN finishing my BA in psychology (I will be graduating this December). I can hardly wait to start nursing school! I wanted to start this thread so us CSUN applicants can get to know each other.

@iavanna. I don't see Becoming Nursey, Better, Thrive Guide on it, but the full textbook.

Oh gotcha. No, those weren't on a list, rather just comments of books we're recommending.

I believe the other one I recommended was Critical Care by Theresa Brown 😊 we were just recommending nursing books to read for fun before school starts lol 👍🏼

The ones I recommend are Better by Dr. Atul Gawande and Nursing School Thrive Guide by Maureen Osuna (someone else on here had recommended this).

Better is not specifically for nursing, but I highly recommend it for anyone in any field. It's very enlightening and encouraging and gives a sense of "I'm going to do my best in anything I do."

Thrive Guide gives great tips on how to get yourself ready for the rigors of a nursing program.

i think it will be for the fall. A lot a people have already gotten in for the summer. I know there are people out there who have been waiting longer than me on the wait list. Therefore I think it will be fall. If I get in for summer I will be very surprise.

I hope you hear something. I know how annoying and crazy it is.....checking your email all day long.

Email but I am still checking all the time to see if I got in. When I got the email saying I was on the waitlist I gave me a little relief. unfortunately not much because I still do not know if I am in.
