Hey guys I've been following this forum for awhile but never wrote anything because I wasn't sure if I would get in.. But I just received the acceptance letter for summer earlier today as well. I applied for CSUN ABSN 2015. I am sure they have sent out so many acceptances and denial but I did not get any. I called severally; 2 weeks ago, 3 weeks ago, 4 weeks ago with different answers. In my last call 2 weeks ago, I was told that what is left for the 2 cohorts programs is denial or wait lists, but I am surprise some got acceptance letters last week for summer. My concern is to know my status, so that I can plan ahead. I tried to remove my mind from checking email every minutes but could just hold myself. Does any person know what I should do?

The people who got accepted into ï¸summer were waitlisted for both ï¸summer and fall. I am in the same boat as you, I have still yet to hear anything. But the last time I called (wednesday) it seemed as if we were potential alternates for alternates, so we needed some of them to get in before we could become an alternate. I'm hoping these 5 people opened our chances up and maybe we will be come alternates this week!

I also just got accepted for summer!!! Can't believe it!! I feel like am at a disadvantage because I didn't go to orientation. Can anyone fill me in on what you learned? Thank you so much!!! ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½

Though we're in different cohorts, I hope we get a chance to all meet each other. Those of you in the summer cohort will be us fall folks' mentors. :)

for anyone that got their summer acceptance pretty late (in the last few days), do you know how long we have to complete the background/drug screen/ vaccines/ everything else? I've seen the Apr. 30 deadline thrown around but im not sure if that is the cutoff? Because that only gave us about 4 days to complete everything and that is really hard for people that have normal working hours lol. Does anyone have any additional info? I tried to call and email the nursing deptâ€¦ but no answer or email back.

I'm in the same boat, and have been calling as well. They said they would give further instructions on the acceptance letter, once they have received our confirmation of acceptance but I haven't received anything yet. I can't imagine the deadline to be the same since they gave us til the 30th to respond. Hopefully we will hear soon!
