CSUN ABSN 2015

I noticed that there wasn't a thread posted for CSUN ABSN 2015 yet so I thought I'd start one I'm currently a student at CSUN finishing my BA in psychology (I will be graduating this December). I can hardly wait to start nursing school! I wanted to start this thread so us CSUN applicants can get to know each other.

Me three!!! I got mine at 5pm! I'm so excited and nervous! I think the previous cohort received phone calls for interviews around mid February

I'm not sure if they are still going to do interviews this year though

I got the same email. There was no mention of interviews - it just said that we should hear something (via email) sometime in March. Who knows what that means? :)

The one thing they didn't discuss at the info session I went to was the points system they use. So I'm not sure if you would get points off for that, but I doubt it. As long as you turn in your final transcript before the deadline in February you should be fine

Did anyone get an email saying that their application is complete and it is being referred to admissions committee! and that they will be sending out letters in March via email! It does not mention any interviews. I just got that email today! OMG I hope I get in!

i got an email last week about it's in review and reminding me to send my transcripts in.

I got that same email today! Probably because I dropped off my final transcript showing my BA degree yesterday. Since they didn't mention interviews I wonder if that means they aren't doing them this cohort. I know for the previous cohort they did. I hope we all get in!!

@ ElizabethH736 do you happen to know how many applicants they received this season? also, do you know if I've repeated a course whether they average the 2 grades or take into account plus and minuses?

I just got the complete email today, but I don't want to get my hopes up so high, since I know it's a very competitive program.
