I noticed that there wasn't a thread posted for CSUN ABSN 2015 yet so I thought I'd start one I'm currently a student at CSUN finishing my BA in psychology (I will be graduating this December). I can hardly wait to start nursing school! I wanted to start this thread so us CSUN applicants can get to know each other.

Congrats to all who have been accepted so far! I got accepted for Fall last week (!!!) but am hoping to get into Summer (I wonder what number we are up to now re: acceptances). Hi everyone. I recieved acceptance to the ABSN program for the Fall, but have just denied it. I will be attending CSU San Marcos ABSN starting in the summer. So if there is a waitlist, there is hope! Good luck everyone!

The progressive admissions decisions they do is very strange. It's almost like they're reviewing our applications and sending out decisions as they go. Considering we turned in our applications so long ago I would have thought their decisions would have been more decisive at this point.

I called the Nursing Department just now and spoke with Roland and he told me that they are still sending acceptances in the next two weeks.

Hello, you would hear back from the email you used on the application. Did you receive an email when they acknowledged receipt of your packet or when they forwarded it on to the committee?

His! CSUN's Spring break is April 6 - 11 so I think they're really pushing to get all the letters done the week before break...

I'm thinking the next batch of letters might be sent April 1 or 2. I remember reading in this thread someone had until March 24/25 to return their letter of acceptance. I got my acceptance email March 26th (but it was dated March 25th). I have until April 1 to repy. So I'm guessing early April is when they will send more letters.
