CSUN ABSN 2015

I noticed that there wasn't a thread posted for CSUN ABSN 2015 yet so I thought I'd start one I'm currently a student at CSUN finishing my BA in psychology (I will be graduating this December). I can hardly wait to start nursing school! I wanted to start this thread so us CSUN applicants can get to know each other.

I heard back from them on my personal email (the one I put on my application).

I received my acceptance notification for fall a while ago too!!!! :) I know for everyone the wait has been killer! (I checked this site hourly just to see any news/updates) Sending some good vibes for everyone waiting to hear from CSUN.

Congrats ! do you mind telling us your gpa and everything when you applied?

I'm not sure if that question was directed towards me or not lol. But anyways just thought I'd post my GPA and other stuff because someone else was kind enough to share their stats 😊

My undergrad overall GPA was 3.65 and my pre-req GPA was about 3.7-3.8. I got As in all my pre-reqs except for a B in Chem because that was a difficult class! I had 100 hours of volunteer experience at Providence Saint Joseph's Hospital. Also, at the time of application I was accepted to the Clinical Care Extender internship at Glendale Adventist Medical Center. My BA was in Psychology and I graduated from CSUN in December.

I did the same thing! Screamed and told everyone I know! I think we should probably tell them that it really needs to say 'provisionally accepted' instead of 'see you in the fall!'

I completely agree with you! It really throws you off when you see "Congratulations! On behalf of California State University, Northridge, I am pleased to offer you admission to the University for the Fall 2015 Semester."

I agree 100% . I even got a packet with mine telling me welcome. It looks like you are in the program but you are not. :madface: I took pictures of mine and texted my family who lives out of state. I was on a high like no other until I went into my Northridge to see I was provisionally accepted. It was like someone pulled the rug from under my feet. I was soo embarrassed:facepalm:
