CSUN ABSN 2015

I noticed that there wasn't a thread posted for CSUN ABSN 2015 yet so I thought I'd start one I'm currently a student at CSUN finishing my BA in psychology (I will be graduating this December). I can hardly wait to start nursing school! I wanted to start this thread so us CSUN applicants can get to know each other.

I just called them and they said that not all acceptances have been sent out yet. Thank god! But they said it could take up to two weeks...let's hope not...

Thank you ! I never thought I would get accepted into a CA school. Just to let you know, my letter was dated yesterday. My feelings is they are sending out acceptances in alphabetical order, even though they've made decisions already. My last name is at the very end. Another possibility is that they send it out in batches after ranking the applicants because I only have until the 24th to accept my offer.

So I do have one issue... I don't have a driver's license... Never driven for 7 yrs in LA. So, I was wondering what David said above about car insurance, what if I don't have one? I'm planning to take cab maybe part of first semester, and if any in the summer cohort would be willing to carpool with me, I'd be happy to reimburse for gas.

Do you know for a fact that they sent out acceptances in alphabetical order? Did you speak with someone who told you that? I have a friend who was accepted last year and she told me the admissions decisions were all sent out randomly in no specific order. We are all kind of just speculating at this point lol

@ ElizabethH736 it is my feeling by alphabetical order. Someone else from summer cohort yesterday got accepted and her last name started with a C, mine's is towards the very very end. but who knows haha! good luck!

I applied for Fall 2015 and haven't heard anything yet. Any other fall applicants hear anything? Fingers crossed. Good luck to everyone and congrats to the people who have already been accepted. This has been a long and stressful wait.
