Hello everyone,
I'm applying for CSULB this Spring, transferring from Palomar College. Just finish all of the application today. Anyone else applies this Spring? Good luck to us all
This is a reminder of the following section of the Terms of Service:
Please do not give out personal information about others. Do not name names where anyone could identify the person in any facility including your nursing programs.
Several posts have been edited for compliance.
Thank you.
I'm alternate 29 and this is my second time applying; I received a rejection letter the first and wasn't call for an interview. However, I received my acceptance letter today from los angeles trade tech for the spring 2012. I'm so excited and I thank God I also applied at the community colleges. For those of you who didn't get accepted, don't give. Reapply and make sure you apply at different community colleges too. I wish all to get accepted somewhere and start very soon!
Hi everyone! Congratulations to those who made it into the nursing program!
Unfortunately/Fortunately, I'm an alternate, #4 to be exact.
I emailed her asking how many applicants were accepted and how I would find out if I would be chosen if someone were to deny their acceptance. This is what she emailed back to me:
"84 were accepted into the program.
As an alternate, you must attend orientation to hold your place inline."
Those who are alternates--- please don't give up hope! Only 84 were accepted when it usually is around 90, and not everyone who was granted acceptance into the nursing program accepts the offer!!
I have also heard that those who were accepted barely got their emails for their orientation packet and contract. The contract needs to be sent back to the university by November 23 to see if those who applied are accepting or declining the offer in order for the nursing program to notify alternates if need be.
Alternates--Keep your heads up high!! There's still hope for us!!! (:

For those who received the acceptance letter..it's better to go there yourself and turn it in. I don't trust USPS. They can lose your stuff.
Has anyone heard from the university regarding admission(:?I heard its suppose to be like 2 days after u hear from nursing?

Go to the above link, and click on the "Check My Application Status" button. Enter your ID for CSULB, or your social, and follow all the little buttons. If you're accepted it will tell you at the end, on the same page.
