CSULB Spring 2012 BSN

Hello everyone,

I'm applying for CSULB this Spring, transferring from Palomar College. Just finish all of the application today. Anyone else applies this Spring? Good luck to us all :yeah:

Can someone help me here? I'm already doing health check up, but what's the health portal and how do i get there?

Also, where's the background check form?

Background check is from Certifiedbackground.com...an that website makes ur magnus health portal where u need to upload all of your health info and drivers license. All the instructionpapers are on the csulb undergrad spring 2012 link(:

Does anybody have thoughts or comments on whether they want to do the basic program or the trimester program? I'm still debating between the two!!

Also does anyone know if you decide to do the basic program, are there certain classes you can take over the summer, not necessarily nursing related, that will apply towards a certain minor? That way you would still be able to get financial aid and not have to take the whole workload of doing nursing courses during summer.

I'm planning on moving to Long Beach, but would need financial aid over summer to help pay for housing, but I'm not sure if I would want to take on the extreme workload of the trimester program =(

At first i was sure i wanted trimester but after looling into it it seems like tooo much stress.

& im sure you can work on a minor in summer i dont see why not.

Does anyone have contact infor for american heart association cpr classes?

For CPR class in Long Beach, I recommend http://www.wix.com/procpr/main#!cpr on PCH and Anaheim. They are great there, and it's only $40...make sure you tell them you need the AHA Healthcare Provider Course. They make it really fun and you really learn it.

I have a question..are the students from spring 2012 suppose to do this now or wait till orientation day? I'm confused.

Also, what page in the handbook tells me the instruction? I think i'm missing a page.

You are supposed to create ir prior to orientationdoing. All the requirements have to be uploaded by Jan 16.

To those who are working magnus site..what do I click for graudation date? there is an option which says orientation...do I pick that?

I noticed the other day that I was accepted to the university as well. I have a question regarding the acceptance. Were we suppose to create our CSULB account and accept our admission by Novemeber 15th like the rest of the CSULB students or are we just required to accept the nursing departments acceptance by turning in the contract by November 23rd?
