CSULB Spring 2012 BSN

Published

Hello everyone,

I'm applying for CSULB this Spring, transferring from Palomar College. Just finish all of the application today. Anyone else applies this Spring? Good luck to us all :yeah:

thanks @cmd4.

The University accepted me(:

....Has anyone else began to freak out about all the little requirements lol:)

There's no need to freak out... I recommend to just read everything and start getting yourself organized NOW and begin to plan for your titers, immunizations, and health examination as soon as possible... The more you get out of the way now, the more you can focus on the true task at hand which is yet to come.

Congratulations to you, but take a deep breath and savor the success you have achieved, and then move on to getting yourself as organized as you can!

Thanks for replying. I'm assuming the cutoff was 8.9x.

I hope you get in as an alternate. Good luck!

Has anyone received an email or letter from the university letting know they have been accepted? I know you can check it online, but that doesn't give you your CSULB ID number

The number you use to check your application status online is your UCSB ID#. You can use that number to register for myCSULB which will allow you access to your PeopleSoft account. When you are in your student center, scroll to the bottom and you can click on your application status... the prompts will lead you to the area where you can accept or reject your admissions offer.

Hope this helps!

Thanks!!! That helps a lot! Do you know when we are supposed to get an actual letter?

Perhaps next week, but don't sweat it...As long as you are electronically accpeted, these days that's what's most important! Just make sure you get started on the health requirements!

I used my social to find out if I was accepted online...can I use that for my login for myCSULB?

hey everyone, has anyone created their Magnus tracker account and done their background check yet?

I was setting up my accounts and was following the instructions from the CSULB website...Did anyone have trouble creating their Magnus Account?

Some of the steps that were on the Pre-Orientation Instructions on Creating Online Tracker Account were missing for me. Steps 9-11 were missing and I didn't receive and email from MAgnus Health Portal. :(

Is anyone on the same boat or did I do something wrong?

Yes I completed my background check and started magnus health portal. Upload your driver's license and the instructions say that it takes about a week to get the "everything is ok" email...then you can start uploading your other documents. If you have any problems you can call their customer service line and they are very helpful and courteous.

@maria4ever

Ok so im glad to know im not the only one ths happnd to. I was going crazy thinkin i messed up.

When i called then they said the instrctions are prob. Old and that now it makes the health portal automatically.
