Published

Hi everyone! I wanted to start this thread to compare our stats since the deadline to send in the supplemental application is approaching soon. CSULB's program is definitely competitive and I hope I have a chance to get in with my scores!

My stats:

4.0 GE GPA

4.0 Science GPA

92.7% Composite TEAS score

82.1% Reading TEAS score

Best of luck to everyone applying!! We got this!

I'm in pharm right now (second semester). Are you sure they have you doing it first semester? Usually first is just foundations and patho. If you took patho already then they move pharm to first semester. I have to take a history class too but I'm going to either see if I can do it in the Winter or at a CC.

Yeah they gave us our schedules at orientation

That's strange...I would see about taking the chem and history at a CC maybe during a Winter/Spring intersession and schedule your UD-C course first semester with your other classes unless your second semester looks pretty light. GERN is second semester and you can take a 3 week option or 6 week I think. Easy asynch class-so if you only have 3 classes your second semester then I would squeeze in a class there. If you're semester I would take advantage of the summers and take your classes then. I'm assuming you're trimester though, which can get stressful at times but you'll be able to find a way to get it done! Just takes time management.

Yeah I might just have to find something online and easy. We're doing pharmacology and patho first semester. And I just found out I have to take a organic chem because the one I took wasn't good enough and maybe a history class? and now I am stressed on when I'm gonna squeeze it in

hi! did you mean that in the CSULB nursing program they require you to take Organic chem if they find your previous Chem course insufficient? May I know what chem class you took and at which school? Greatly appreciate your reply.

They require an integrated chemistry course (general, organic, biochem) equivalent to CSULB's Chem 140 or a general course that is not integrated and either inorganic, organic, or biochem. I took Chem 210 (integrated gen, organic, and biochem) at Santa Ana College.

Is anyone here starting the RN-BSN program at CSULB?
