Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone knows how to determine an impaction score. I saw people in previous forums listed it but I am not sure how to calculate.

Hey, so there's another forum that someone posted the "formula" I guess you can call it. LOL I think it might be in another thread for CSULB 2022 cycle. I would try to find it, but don't have the time right now.

So I found the formula, its:

(Science GPA) + (Gen ED GPA/2) + (TEAS Overall x .02) + (TEAS Reading x .02)

hi!! I finally took the TEAS today and submitted my supplemental, really cutting it close with that deadline ? these were my stats:

3.64 GE GPA

4.0 Science GPA

96.0% Composite TEAS 

97.4% Reading TEAS

9.688 impaction score

hi everyone! my stats are:

hey I just got an invitation to the communication exercise!! that was way faster than I expected, anyone else hear anything yet? Or know what to expect for the exercise?

hi! I got mine this morning too. I didn't expect it to be this quick either. from what I've read, it is exactly what it says it is. they want to see that you're able to communicate effectively with others. I think it's a group thing where you watch a video and write a short essay. I could be wrong though

I was just about to comment this haha! Way faster than expected. 

I also got the invitation to the communication exercise this morning! Surprised but thankful as the waiting game is not fun. 

On Reddit people are saying that you have to write a short essay about a video you watch. Some people say there's a group exercise (which might be hard to do via zoom) but then other people say after you write the essay you have a 1:1 with a faculty member and it's like an interview. Overall, everyone says it's super easy but it's weird that very few people actually go into detail about what it's like. 

I got the invitation too! We would need to dress up for this I'm assuming right? LOL

I think so! I'm going to be in professional attire for sure.
