CSULB FALL 2019

Hey everyone!

I know its a bit early but time flies fast and I pretty nervous so I'm sure other people are too. Is anyone applying to CSULB this upcoming semester for fall 2019? Just wanted to make this so we can talk about goals, nerves, points, and ask questions! Also, if there are any current or past CSULB nursing students...any advice? Hope to hear from u guys!

@subarualex Yeah we have to send official transcripts by the 15th and pay the $150 deposit by May 1. I just received an email today from admissions stating this, but luckily I already submitted my official transcripts last Thursday because someone on here mentioned they called admissions and they said to send them.

Yeah I was waiting for the email from admissions telling us what to do but it wasn't coming soon enough lol so I just sent in my transcripts as soon as I could because I knew they would be asking for them eventually and I wanted to be sure they got them on time!

I receive an email reminder today about sending the signed commitment to the program. It also had some useful info about orientation.

I just signed up for my SOAR workshop! If anyone else signs up for the one on July 22, I'll see you there ?

Does anybody know anything about the GPE and whether we have to sign up for/take that as well?

I don't know anything about it but the website says all undergrad transfer students from community colleges have to take it either the summer before or the first semester. So I'm sure we'll get more info about it in the summer, maybe at the SOAR orientation!

Any 2nd degree seekers know if we have to attend a SOAR workshop and pay the $150 deposit? I received my acceptance letters from both the University and SON and there isn't any info on either. I do even see info on accepting the University's offer... maybe because I already accepted the SON I don't have to?

Update: I figured it out:-) FYI 2nd degree seekers do not have to pay the $150 enrollment fee or attend SOAR.
