Hey everyone!
I know its a bit early but time flies fast and I pretty nervous so I'm sure other people are too. Is anyone applying to CSULB this upcoming semester for fall 2019? Just wanted to make this so we can talk about goals, nerves, points, and ask questions! Also, if there are any current or past CSULB nursing students...any advice? Hope to hear from u guys!
From what I understand and from reading past forums, second degree seekers always hear back later by a few weeks! So don't stress too much you guys, but I know that's easier said than done
I just accepted my admission offer of MyCSULB and paid my enrollment deposit! Just gotta send the SON the signed acceptance letter and I'm set. Has anyone submitted official transcripts yet? It isn't on my To-Do List and I haven't received any emails from admissions. I was told on the phone a while back not to send them until requested, but I just wanna make sure they get there in time in case there is a deadline.

I called admissions and they told me to turn in all my transcripts and ap scores
To all the second degree seekers in the thread: I know a couple people who applied to CSULB as second degree seekers in other programs, and they are still waiting on a response as well. I think the university responds to these applications later than everyone else. Keep in mind that most people who attend the communication exercise end up getting offered admission (or placed on the alternate list), so your chances are still good. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good news for you guys! ?
I hope we hear more from the school of nursing soon! I'm excited and impatient, lol. Also, I never received an email from Admissions even though the applicant self-service said to expect one within 48 hours. It's kind of a mystery what all is going on! I think us transfers have to sign up for an orientation with the school as well as the SON... but I'm not sure ?

I have decided to go to MSMU for nursing instead so I'm sure a spot will open up. Good luck!
