CSULB FALL 2019

Hey everyone!

I know its a bit early but time flies fast and I pretty nervous so I'm sure other people are too. Is anyone applying to CSULB this upcoming semester for fall 2019? Just wanted to make this so we can talk about goals, nerves, points, and ask questions! Also, if there are any current or past CSULB nursing students...any advice? Hope to hear from u guys!

So I applied to this school twice and I failed at the communication exercise for the first time (I asked the school how I failed, and they said they didn't know, and that I have to ask the professor who was in charge of the communication exercise), and I didn't even get communication exercise opportunity for the second time although I submitted the application with the same information from the last time. My score was around 9.6 and from what I heard in the info session (I am currently attending this school), they give out communication exercise opportunity based on the score. BUT from what I saw these days, that is not true. that is why I think something is wrong with the school.

I was in one of the information session here, I am living here in this area. But something happened to me(personal), Now I applied other CSUs, you apply many go other one. I believe you are very easy to get in other ones.

@Remia Wow, they should have told you what went wrong in your first communication exercise, I'm sorry that happened... I hope you get in this time!

Something unprofessional happened to me too... I submitted my application and transcripts on time but then I got an email that my application was withdrawn! So I panicked and called them and it turns out that they just hadn't processed my transcripts before the transcript deadline so their automatic computer system withdrew my application! So then I had to talk to a bunch of different people to get them to unwithdraw it and they kept on saying that they couldn't find my transcripts... it was so frustrating

Yeah a lot of things have been messy but I think it’s because Mona Lisa quit. The students were talking about how they’re changing the curriculum as well so I think everything is just all over the place. Hopefully it all works out though!

OMG that should have been really frustrating... I hope the school take more responsibility for their mistakes.

I asked the day of the information session and they told me it would be around 4 weeks from then. So we're looking at around the second month of April.

Yep they said 3-4 weeks at my communication exercise, and that was 2 weeks ago today so we're looking at 1-2 more weeks til we hear back (hopefully)!

hello, I am applying for spring 2020 and I am curious what your score is (GPA and TEAS) so I can know where I need to be
