CSULB BSN Fall 2018

Hi all! I wanted to start a thread for folks who are applying to CSULB starting Fall 2018. I would love to hear other applicants!

does anyone know which program is higher ranked/more prestigious to grad from.

SDSU nursing or CSU LB nursing.

Please help, which one would you choose and for what reason. Only according to academics please, I do not care about partying, food, or anything like that.

From what I've observed, sonoma, san diego, sacramento, long beach, and LA are like the top 5. You should feel lucky if you got accepted into any one of them.

I got into both SDSU and CSULB and I chose CSULB only because it's 2.5 years whereas SDSU's program is 3 years. and because I'm planning to go to grad school at SDSU and I don't like staying in one place for very long.

having a hell of a hard time deciding which one to go to since I got accepted to both...

yeah I see what you're saying, but I am very homebodied. I am either studying, reading, or gaming on pc. I also don't want any relationship until I finish with school.

Hey @makijuan,

Congrats on getting in! I too received an acceptance call on the same day as an alternate. She said that she was going to send us the health and background check info with the official admit email. Did you already get this? I won't believe it until I see it on paper as I have had an issue in the past.

I got an email from Monalisa today. We're gonna get the letter soon. I am sure we are in!! Congrats!!

What colleges/universities offer pharmacology and/or pathophysiology for summer?

Most colleges offer them and I've called just about all of them. As far as I know, and what they have told me, none of the schools will let you take these classes without being in their nursing program.

Really? I'm about to start pharmacology on Monday and it only required physiology as a prerequisite.
