Hi all!
I just wanted to create this forum for students who are applying to CSULA Fall 2021 for the BSN Nursing track in case we had questions for each other, wanted to share thoughts, stats and to support each other through this journey.
I was wondering if anyone has applied and knew if CSULA requires verification for volunteer hours in their NursingCAS application portion? Also, will they accept any amount of volunteer hours under 50? I know you can add a document. Thank you!

I'm a second degree applicant (so I'm not sure if CSULA is simply requiring it for graduate students who are applying) but I was emailed from CSULA Admissions that I had some "To Do tasks" with a deadline of 02/15/21. These tasks included sending them another set of official transcripts from all higher education institutions that I attended. If you did not get the email, I think you should be OK? Hope this helps.
Did you apply to CSULA's ABSN program for 2nd degree applicants? There is a separate thread for it! The process is completely different from their traditional program. I don't want to give you bad info.

No, I did not! Unfortunately I did not have all the pre-reqs completed for the ABSN program. I applied to the regular BSN program, but I would still be considered a second degree applicant since I received my first bachelors already.

Got it! Good luck!!

As of RN I work at Tommys so that’s my part time job on the weekends. Gotta work to pay them bills LOL. But hopefully I get a CNA job by end of my certification but it would be per diem

I know I was seeing that. I would say maybe around next 2 weeks coming up cuz based on other threads that’s when they started sending. Could be different this year but that’s just my prediction
